Merry Christmas!

Grandkids make Christmas morning so fun - they are so excited and intrigued by the mystery of unwrapped surprises.

Here's a picture of our old and beloved tree (especially for you Jed!). Heirloom ornaments from the kids' elementary school glory days still dangle from it's branches, along with a delightful mishmash of other baubles, collected through the years. I admit that I'm eager to trash this traditional eyesore (not the ornaments - just the tree itself) and get an LED pre-lit wonder at an after-Christmas sale, but I am, alas, out-voted every year.
