It was a long, steep way up...but we made it!
The Hmong branch held a picnic at President Lee's house in Palmer and afterwards we hiked The Butte. There were the usual delicious egg rolls and purple sticky rice along with hamburgers and hotdogs. The kids played ball games and tag and the grownups sat around and gabbed. Almost everyone tackled the "mountain." The view from the top was glorious and worth the hot dusty climb.
