A visit to the Rio Tinto Museum in June

The museum was built to blend in with the environment

Even the ladybugs think my Mom is as pretty as a flower!

Someone you know?

Putting together pottery shards.                 Alder says, "Yeah the museum is cool, but                                                                                 have you ever seen a belly button as neat as this?"

I spent a fun afternoon with my beautiful mother and daughter and four precocious grand children at the gleaming new natural history museum on the University of Utah campus. The dinosaur skeletons are impressive - frankly, I find it hard to believe that a creature with a two story long neck actually breathed and walked on earth. There were interactive exhibits, including an archeaology dig and a sand and water table where you could experiment with the forces of erosion. Family bonding while expanding our brains...
