Shopping on Nanjing Street - Shanghai, July 3

Here are the Alaskan teachers walking along the famous shopping street in Shanghai. We didn't buy much during our first brief stop here, but on the way home, July 25th, we discovered a great store to buy pearls, purses, silks, etc. "Pearl City," is the name of the store for all of you future Shanghai guests. Too bad that by the time we discovered it, we didn't have much money left!

I enjoy your photos, Lisa. I have some like them...especially of the Pearl Tower, the traffic, and the Gardens. It's great to have you back in the States, though. China is so far away. Of course, Alaska's not that near...but still. Love you!
