Susan's Garden

My friends and I have been meeting in Susan's garden for the past ten summers...some summers only once or twice - other summers almost weekly. The garden visits started after we all took a writing and art class together. We were inspired and ready to unleash our inner artists. The goal was to draw and paint, but mostly we just visited and enjoyed the peace of the garden. It sits just above the Eagle River and you can hear the water rolling by as you stroll along the grass and stop to admire the blossoms and greenery. We sketch, snap photos and chat. Susan writes in her garden journal. I'm glad we still have this connection.
