I scrambled up this popular Anchorage butte by myself, while my hiking partner waited at the saddle. Halfway up the boulder field, I abandoned my hiking stick and carefully climbed to the top. Crawling down was scarier than going up! These beautiful vistas were the rewards for my effort...
