Musée de l'Orangerie, Paris

Nancy, Tami and Dave relax before going to the museum

How are the kids doing, Tami?

Detail of Monet's water lily paintings

This modern art, currently exhibited in the basement of the museum, is a contrast to the soothing peace of Monet's water lilies

June 8th - Nancy and I met Dave and Tami at the Musee de l'Orangerie to see the oval rooms built in 1918 to showcase Monet's water lilies. Surrounded by Monet's blues, purples and soft greens, I felt as if I was on a boat in the middle of a gentle pond.
