If you come visit us in the summer, chances are we will take you to hike at Alyeska on the Winner's Creek trail. Be prepared to stroll along a lush forest trail, to cross over meandering streamlets and to hear the rushing sounds of the river. The best part of the hike is at the end, though - you get to pull yourself across the river in a handtram. Imagine yourself dangling in a small metal cage, fifty feet above a swiftly moving river, pulling hand over hand on a thick rope to reach the other side. Now, don't you want to come visit us?
