Nancy and I stayed in Matthew's room. I loved having a sink right in the bedroom - so practical and so "English," according to Doug. This is the view outside his window. Mary Ann has decorated their home with a European flair - antiques, fine linens and handmade touches everywhere. She fed us all kinds of English delights - strawberries with custard and scones, cheese and grapes, cucumber sandwiches, roast and potatoes, clotted creme and hotcross buns.

Matthew's Room
