A traditional English knot garden.May 29th - Doug, Mary Ann and the kids came with us to explored Stratford Upon Avon - Shakespeare's birthplace and the spot where he's buried. The buildings, hundred's of years old, had crooked beams and stairs polished hard and smooth with time. The ceilings were low and the fireplaces huge. In the home where Shakespeare was born, famous authors had signed the window - Sir Walter Scott and Mark Twain, among others.
