We had an afternoon calligraphy class where a master teacher demonstrated the ancient art of Chinese writing. He taught us to write the characters for the four seasons and the character for dragon. It's trickier than it looks! He presented our group with a beautiful picture. The Alaskan teachers at Homestead Elementary are planning to frame it and hang it in the library.
