"Knee how, ma?"

Here are my sweet students - just look at those beautiful faces! They are so smart to be able to speak Chinese (and learning English, too!) Chinese is such a difficult language - not only do you have to learn all kinds of interesting consonant combinations and vowel sounds, but you have to use the correct pitch and intonation or you might say something entirely different than what you intended. The children loved to teach me Chinese words during the class breaks. I was terrible! They laughed and laughed. I think that's why they enjoyed teaching me so much...
