Yum

I dined on many delicacies in China: squid, octopus, jelly fish, fish (lots of bones and sharp teeth) duck, duck blood soup, bok choi, sticky rice, fried rice, rice cakes, sweet rice, fried bananas, seaweed soup, lotus root, mushrooms and fish sauce, fish balls, lobster feet, snail in the shell, eggplant, pork dumplings with pepper and vinegar sauce, boiled sweet dates, tofu, mung beans, shrimp on a stick, pigeon, chicken and garlic, sweet bean paste, rice flour rolls with sweetened condensed milk, cherry tomatoes, mangoes, leches, pears, peaches, apples, oranges, watermelon, pumpkin, mystery roots (tasted like raw potatoes), kidney bean popsicles and freshly squeezed melon juice. My favorites were the amazing variety of vegetables and fruits and the mushroom and fish sauce - delicious!

Good for you Lisa! Some of the fellow travelers on my China trip starved when they couldn't get to a McDonald's.
